Flutist Tracia Pan is completing her double Bachelor's degree in Flute Performance and Statistics at the University of Washington

As a student in Donna Shin's studio, Tracia is an active flutist of the UW Symphony Orchestra and UW Wind Ensemble. She has served as principal flutist in UW Symphony Orchestra, UW Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and has numerous collaborations within the UW Chamber Music Lab.  

Tracia is a two time finalist of the UW concerto competition, and advanced to the final rounds of the Jacqueline Avent Concerto Competition. This November, Tracia will participate in the Bainbridge Symphony Young Artists Competition as a finalist.

This summer, Tracia was a featured performer at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival in Tennessee and played the Hüe Fantasie with the Sewanee Festival Orchestra. In 2023, Tracia was a featured performer at the ARIA International Summer Academy in Massachusetts, engaging in lessons and masterclasses with Bonita Boyd, Aaron Goldman, and Jonathan Keeble. In 2024, she was a featured flutist at the Marrowstone Music Festival in Washington. She has also studied with Bonnie Blanchard, Karla Flygare, Evan Pengra Sult, and Janelle Barrera. In addition, she has performed in masterclasses with Elizabeth Buck, Jeffrey Barker, Jill Felber, Paul Taub, Sharon Sparrow, and Viviana Guzman.​

Outside of music, Tracia enjoys baking, time with family and friends, and playing Zelda games on her Nintendo Switch.
